There are so many whole plant oils that nature provides which perfectly help our body produce radiant and moisturized skin. The healthy ingredients that we will use in this homemade body scrub will exfoliate, nurture, and moisturize your dry winter skin.
Here are the things you need:
½ cup coconut oil, melted
1½ cups brown sugar
1 Tbsp sweet almond oil
1 Tbsp avocado oil
¼ cup fine sea salt
Dry leaves from 2 Green Teabags
20 drops Lavender essential oil
15 drops Chamomile essential oil
15 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil
Mason Jar (upcycled glass jar will do)
*If you have organic ingredients, much better. 🙂
Let’s start making some skin care magic!
- Combine all of your ingredients in your bowl until everything is incorporated.
- Spoon the scrub mix into your glass jars for storage. Use whenever you take a shower or bath.
After you wash with soap and water, finish up with our homemade body scrub a and give your skin a little tender love and care. Rub it into your skin with small, circular motions all over your entire body and rinse off with water.
Please take extra caution when getting out of the bathtub as the oil residue may cause a little slippery feel on your feet.
